Balvenie Emma ’21

Balvenie Emma, a sophomore from New York, New York, is majoring in the Classics and a member of Wellesley College's fencing team.

She is passionate about dead languages, studying Latin, Ancient Greek and Akkadian, and hopes to learn Sumerian in the future; this love ancient languages stems from her interest in philology and grammar.
