Freedom is a topic familiar yet estranged to me. But despite all negative remarks on the level of freedom in China, I firmly believe that China is heading for a brighter future.

I'm a potential neuroscience and economics major. I'm from Shanghai, China. Brought up and educated in a traditional Chinese setting, I came to Wellesley only to experience the merits of the liberal arts education. I love humanities, but I love science more. Neuroscience allows me to study the workings of the human mind without denying me the pleasure of scientific research. I'm really interested in the program because I want to provide more proof AND counter-proof for my belief.
